Customer Service Administrator

This position requires a good team player and you will have the ability to communicate with customers from all backgrounds and all levels. You will be able to think fast and work under pressure and you will have an excellent eye for detail. You will be a part of busy team in a very fast paced environment and accuracy must be one of your strengths. Along with being a team player you must be able to be adaptable during the working day as unexpected situations can arise.

You will:

  • Answer the majority of telephone calls from customers and place bookings on the system.
  • Book skip permits with local councils and arrange bay suspensions.
  • Assist & advise customers on their waste requirements ensuring that they get the correct product for their needs.

  • Deal with customer email enquiries and online orders.

  • A good knowledge of the Surrey/Middlesex area is desirable so that jobs can be planned correctly.

  • Support the Office Manager as and when required.

  • Constantly communicate with our customer service teams and drivers to ensure customer KPI’s and targets are achieved and maintained

  • Reporting to the Office Manager.

You will have:

  • Exceptional telephone manner.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Must have a positive/can-do attitude.
  • Must be a team player but be able to be proactive and work on your own.
  • Ability to work well under pressure/in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must have good computer skills.

You should be familiar with Microsoft Office/Excel and if you have experience of working within a waste management company that would be an advantage but training in our waste software will be given.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:30 (one hour lunch break) with every other Saturday 08:00 – 12:00
